Last Undefeated Team / Winless Team in the NFL

Last year the Kansas City Chiefs were the NFL’s last undefeated team. There undefeated season ended at 3-0 after a 19-9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. It was the first time since 1970 that the NFL didn’t have at least one team start the season 4-0. Below is a chronological listing of the last undefeated team(s) in each NFL season since 1970. Further in the post there is a similar listing for the last winless team(s).
