NCAA Tournament: Low Scoring Final Fours

Posted by Andrew McKillop on April 5, 2011

Site News: This week I’m going to try to update all the NCAA Tournament post to reflect this year’s results.  I’m also in the process of moving.  There probably won’t be any new posts for at least this week.

If you like low scoring basketball games, this was the Final Four of your dreams.  The low scoring affair we saw from this year’s Final Four, is something that we hadn’t seen since the 1940’s.

This year’s Final Four had a combined point total of 337 points.  It’s the 11th lowest scoring Final Four in the history of the tournament, and it’s the lowest combined point total seen in over 60 years.
